Geochemical and Petrographic Properties of Imported Decorative Rocks and Comparing Their Market Sales with Afghan Decorative Rocks

 Abstract
Laboratory waste, due to its diverse and sometimes hazardous
composition, is one of the most significant challenges in research
and educational centers. This review study aims to examine the
types of laboratory waste and analyze safe management strategies
for them. This research employs a descriptive and analytical
method. The results show that laboratory wastes are divided into
different categories such as chemical, pharmaceutical, biological,
and infectious wastes, each with its specific hazards. Furthermore,
adherence to waste management principles can significantly ensure
the safety of employees and environmental protection.
Consequently, reducing waste production and converting hazardous
waste into non-hazardous waste are introduced as effective solutions
in this field.
