الملخص

Many people are not aware of the applications of mathematics in everyday life; moreover، there is a common perception that mathematicians form a group separate from the rest of society. Nevertheless، beyond the numerous applications of mathematics، the global mathematical community has created and developed many useful tools، one of which is the TeX typesetting system. TeX was originally developed by the mathematician Donald Knuth، and its current Persian package، known as XePersian، was also prepared by a mathematics student. In this paper، XePersian is introduced، and the process of its development and expansion is discussed. Furthermore، it is compared with similar typesetting systems. An attempt has also been made to present its main features as well as some of its capabilities and related tools that have received less attention from the mathematical community، and to answer several questions concerning it. Today، many individuals and organizations use this package for typesetting Persian documents in LaTeX، and its usage within the scientific community is steadily increasing. TeX is a typesetting system designed specifically for preparing documents، particularly those containing numerous mathematical formulas. It is free software، and its copyright is held by the American Mathematical Society. Users are permitted to copy، reproduce، and distribute it freely without paying any cost. This research was conducted using a library-based research method. The results highlight the importance of this package and show that figures، images، and even tables can be produced more effectively in LaTeX. In addition، documents prepared in LaTeX tend to have higher file security and smaller file sizes.
