Abstract
Within the Islamic framework, it is unequivocally prohibited to violate the rights, honor, or dignity of a fellow Muslim, as safeguarding these values represents one of the highest objectives of Islam. This article seeks to examine the legitimacy of deceit-based claims, the relevant Sharia rulings, and the potential causes underlying their occurrence. A central objective of this research is to analyze the nature of deceit claims, utilizing an inductive and intra-textual methodology, complemented by scrutiny, analysis, and data dissection, to enrich the study with insights from Islamic jurisprudential theories. Drawing from authentic Islamic sources, the findings of this research reveal that claims are made through various channels to appropriate the rights of others, and deceit claims often serve as a tool for pursuing illegitimate and unrealistic objectives. Historical instances of deceit claims, alongside the methods of addressing them, are discussed and explored within this context
