Integrated Farming Systems and Their Importance آن

Abstract

Integrated farming systems (IFS) are an agricultural production system that includes the integration of various agricultural components such as crops, livestock, poultry and fisheries, forestry, horticulture and beekeeping, etc. A system that reduces costs and improves production and income.  This research has studied useful issues regarding integrated farming systems and its importance. The above research is of great importance in our beloved country. This study is considered very important for the farmers of the country and creates public awareness among students, researchers and farmers. The research aims to promote sustainable agriculture and rural development by using resources efficiently, promoting biodiversity and reducing negative environmental impacts. This research is descriptive-analytical in nature and in terms of its purpose is applied. The data collection method is based on library routine methods, utilizing information from books, magazines, and both national and international journals related to the subject. In this research, the collected materials have been qualitatively analyzed. The results of this research show that integrated farming systems improve environmental conditions, conserve resources, and can lead to sustainable development, food security, reduction of negative environmental impacts, promotion of sustainable farming practices, and empower of small farmers in rural areas.
